Junior & Cadet Golf

Junior & Cadet Golf

The strong family bonds and history of Roseville Golf Club have ensured a stream of children learning to play golf as a result of the well established Junior and Cadet programs.

This has been based on regular clinics which are held during school terms. Our qualified professionals work with the children to enhance their skills and teach them the rules and etiquette of golf in a safe, structured and fun environment.

As the children advance through the program, they are given more exposure and confidence by playing a restricted course with one of our volunteer Community Coaches.

Active Kids Rebate

The students graduate with a handicap and are welcomed into the men’s and women’s competitions where experience, exposure, and enjoyment is further enhanced.

Cameron Davis is a very successful graduate of the program, as a professional golfer and the winner of the 2017 Australian Open.

We encourage a strong parental involvement in our clinics. This helps to involve the parents in their child’s development, and at the same time, exposes the parents to all aspects of golf and the benefits of membership of a private golf club.

The club introduced golf at a primary school level in 2015. Through the highly accredited MyGolf program, sponsored by Jack Newton Junior Golf and Golf Australia. Roseville has established a community-based program with Roseville Public School. The program teaches young school children some of the important fundamentals and disciplines of an individual and team sport in a structured and fun environment. It strengthens the self-confidence of the children and builds character as the children’s skills and abilities develop.

Roseville is committed to the long-term future of children and families on the lower north shore through their participation in golf and related community involvement and partnerships.

Please note that applications are by invitation only and the clinic is full for 2024.
